@ian grantham. I’m sooooo sick and tired of these skeptics. There are 1 BILLION stars in our galaxy. We know of over 1 BILLION galaxies, do the math. That is just what we know of so far. We find new galaxies every single day. But I guess you’re right we are the only fucking living creatures in this entire universe. If there was just one civilization out there that has been around just 1,000 years longer than we have the technological implications would be astounding. You people will never see outside of the box because you are too arrogant and small minded. It’s not only completely improbable that we are alone in this universe, it is damn near impossible!

as i look at aliens from a psychological viewpoint i see that from my past if anything ever happened that was especially traumatic i would block it out on my own, if i was an abductee presently i dont think i would want to remember the fear of the experience for some the fear is so great that maybe the aliens sneak around and suppress our memories of incidents for our own piece of mind?? i think its fitting though since we look at animals on this earth as dumb maybe the aliens view us in the same way

Sorry, but, in my opinion, the above viewpoint posted by Mr. Grantham is flawed and therefore reaches an invalid conclusion. Why? His stated viewpoint excludes important relevant factors, such as the role that internal politics plays in regard to how a prominent individual (such as any of those named in the article) might publicly state one particular point of view, but then, once they’re in office and subject to the political and inter-agency pressures and power-struggles and the wheeling-and-dealing and the compartmentalization of authority and of information, that goes on “behind the scenes”, might then be persuaded, by the force of all those internal events, to publicly state a contradictory point of view or even to publicly ignore the subject altogether.

Even when JFK became President, he stated in an interview soon thereafter that before becoming President, he’d thought that as President all he’d have to do would be to give an order and that the order would be followed — but, he then explained, having become President, he quickly found that giving an order was not at all the same as having the order be followed. And it illustrated the issue of how things in Government REALLY work.

Think “power politics”, think “spheres of political influence”, think “spheres of control”. Unfortunately — depending upon one’s point-of-view — Truth and Objectivity and Full Sharing of All Relevant Information are not always the primary goal of those persons who, in whatever their bailiwick is, hold power or to SEEK to hold power.

Just one lil prob with these posts – BOLLOCKS! The dont really stand up to scrutiny. Think for a moment, quotes from peopele actually “in charge” of ??? Well why do these people just say they are real and not elaborate if they know so much? Just think about it for bit – you have these posts that say they are on record for saying they do exist and THEN they dont say anything about them – you really think that is logical if they do exist and these people would like you to know? Would be really cool if they DID exist, but hey, once again, if they are that technically superior to us why would they even bother to show themselves, if they did wouldnt thy say HI? Go away, you’re ALL nuts!
